Job Purpose

We are seeking a Salesforce Backend Developer to design build and maintain scalable backend systems that power our Salesforce-based digital this role youll work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with external systems optimize performance and ensure high-quality data flow across the enterprise. This is an opportunity to contribute to transformative projects within the Salesforce ecosystem leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver impactful client outcomes.

In this role you will get to:

• Design implement and maintain robust backend services and APIs supporting Salesforce integrations (e.g. MuleSoft Apex REST APIs or external middleware).
• Develop scalable solutions that extend Salesforce functionality while maintaining platform integrity and security.
• Collaborate with front-end Salesforce and DevOps teams to deliver high-performing integrated digital experiences.
• Optimize system performance data flow and process automation within multi-cloud Salesforce environments.
• Implement security data governance and compliance best practices across backend components.
• Participate in architectural design reviews technical planning and solution documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor debug and troubleshoot production issues as needed.
• Stay current on Salesforce platform enhancements backend frameworks and emerging technologies.

Your skills and qualifications

• 5 years of professional backend development experience with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce platform integrations.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Apex Java or Python.
• Experience building RESTful APIs GraphQL endpoints and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data models SOQL and Salesforce integration patterns (e.g. Platform Events Middleware or External Services).
• Experience with MuleSoft Salesforce APIs or other integration tools preferred.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS Azure or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines version control (Git) and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g. Platform Developer I/II Integration Architect) are a plus.
