About the Role
As Junior Partner youll manage a high-quality caseload of corporate and commercial matters whilst taking on strategic leadership responsibilities within the team. Youll work alongside 2 experienced Partners 1 Associate and 3 Solicitors providing technical leadership business development direction and mentoring to develop the next generation of corporate lawyers.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- High-Value Corporate Work Leading on complex M&A transactions corporate restructuring and commercial deals
- Strategic Leadership Contributing to departmental strategy business planning and growth initiatives
- Team Development Mentoring and supervising associates and solicitors to build a high-performing team
- Business Development Driving new client acquisition developing existing relationships and identifying growth opportunities
- Client Relationship Management Acting as trusted advisor to key corporate and commercial clients
- Practice Management Contributing to firm-wide decision-making and strategic direction
Your Caseload Will Include
- Mergers & Acquisitions Leading complex business sales acquisitions and corporate restructuring
- Commercial Contracts High-value commercial agreements joint ventures and strategic partnerships
- Corporate Finance Advising on investment rounds shareholder arrangements and corporate governance
- Corporate Restructuring Group reorganisations demergers and corporate simplification
- Commercial Property Supporting corporate clients with significant property transactions
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration Working with employment property and litigation teams on multi-disciplinary matters
What Were Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitorwith a current practising certificate
- 7 years PQEin corporate and commercial law within a UK legal practice
- Proven track recordmanaging complex high-value corporate transactions independently
- Strong leadership credentials experience supervising mentoring and developing legal teams
- Demonstrable business development success track record of winning new clients and growing relationships
- Commercial acumen ability to provide strategic business-focused legal advice
- Partnership mindset entrepreneurial approach with commitment to firm growth and profitability
Desirable:
- Existing client following or portable caseload
- Experience in practice management or departmental leadership
- Track record working with SMEs owner-managed businesses or corporate clients
- Complementary expertise in employment law IP or commercial property
