How will your ideas contribute to shaping whats next

As our new Electrical BIM Modeller youll be a key member of Aurecons drafting and modelling team helping to shape the design of infrastructure projects across Australia. Youll work closely with engineers surveyors and technical specialists to bring concepts to life using advanced 2D and 3D modelling tools.

This role supports our Adelaide team and will assist with specialised workload and sovereignty-based projects. Its ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-driven environment enjoys mentoring others and is passionate about digital innovation and technical excellence.

Here are the key things you will do to bring ideas to life:

• Plan and prepare design documentation prior to construction using various technologies

• Interpret and expand technical details using drawings sketches specifications and calculations

• Apply intermediate to advanced 2D drafting (CAD) and 3D modelling (e.g. Revit) systems

• Produce outputs that feed into drawings and federated models

• Optimise technical design through collaboration with colleagues and clients

• Train and mentor less experienced drafters in technical and digital skills

• Apply quality and safety standards to complete designs

• Plan resources for small projects or components of larger projects

• Use cloud collaboration tools and Aurecons digital platforms to manage project information

What were looking for:

• Relevant experience technical certificate diploma or degree

• Experience using Revit AutoCAD and other BIM tools to produce coordinated electrical models

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and design documentation

• Ability to mentor and support junior drafters and modellers

• Familiarity with cloud collaboration platforms and digital workflows

• Commercial awareness and ability to manage scope timelines and quality

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Passion for innovation safety and continuous learning
