Are you a high-performing warehouse operations/distribution leader ready to take on a career-defining opportunity General Motors (GM) is seeking a Distribution Warehouse Site Leader to lead our largest and most advanced global parts distribution center the Davidson Road (DR2) Processing Center in Burton Michigan. This is not just a leadership role its a mission-critical position at the heart of a $200 million technological transformation and capital investment where automation robotics Infor Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Automated Storage and Retrieval System with miles of automated conveyance and robotics will make DR2 the most technologically advanced warehouse in CCA and will redefine how we serve millions of customers.

GMs Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) organization is a global organization that provides customer support and all post-vehicle purchase services including vehicle parts service and support for recalls and warranties. CCA manages the supply chain for service parts and maintains a warehouse network comprised of Processing Centers Redistribution Centers and Parts Distribution Centers where vehicle parts flow to fulfill customer orders. DR2 is GMs largest Vehicle Parts operations site globally responsible for 70% of all customer pieces sold annually.

What Youll Lead

As the DR2 Distribution Warehouse Site Leader youll be responsible for:

• Full site ownership across safety quality cost delivery and employee engagement.

• Leading a large unionized workforce of 1300 salaried and hourly employees. Included in this population is the Production Maintenance team responsible for processing equipment and ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) maintenance across the CCA US Network

• Managing 100 inbound/outbound trailers per day and processing 110MM pieces annually.

• Driving operational excellence through strategic planning continuous improvement and change leadership.

• Responsible for $150MM Annual Operating budget capital budgets preventive maintenance and delivering on financial targets (EBIT revenue).

• Championing technology adoption and innovation including Infor WMS and ASRS.

• Collaborating across the CCA network to align site performance with broader business goals.

• Building a high-performance work culture grounded in talent development feedback accountability inclusion and engagement. Navigating labor relations with confidence and integrity.

What You Bring (Required)

Were looking for a strategic hands-on leader with:

• Bachelors degree; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

• 10 years of warehouse fulfillment or operations leadership experience.

• Proven success in large-scale high-volume environments dynamic operations environments.

• Experience leading unionized teams or exposure working in a union environment.

• Strong background in warehouse management systems (Infor WMS preferred) and automation.

• A track record of leading through change and transformation.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence motivate and resolve conflict.
