Summary:

Develops and provides services related to the orientation continuing education and assessment of the ongoing competency of clinical staff.

Responsibilities:

Participates in research activities quality improvement or evidence-based practice with developing specific departmental goals standards and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the with nursing leaders and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of an environment that promotes evidence based nursing practice based on nursing research scientific inquiry quality improvement and evidence-based perform clinical patient care when updates and evaluates clinical competencies to assess quality of patient care delivered and ensure regulatory compliance on assigned unit(s).Serves as a consultant/mentor/change agent for staff in areas of program development clinical practice and professional the best available evidence to guide practice the onboarding and orientation of all new employees and students on assigned unit(s).Participates in the development coordination and delivery of all education activities on assigned unit(s).

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate Work Experience: Three (3) years nursing experience. Candidates for Clinical Nurse Educator RN Fellowship positions may apply after completion of two (2) years nursing Information: Department Specific: JDC- Hematology/Oncology: APHON Provider and PALS required.
