About the role
The Year 2 Teacher will secure core outcomes in reading writing and mathematics within a joyful classroom culture. Starting January 2026 the Year 2 Teacher oversees guided reading reasoning-led maths and knowledge-rich topics. The Year 2 Teacher collaborates with specialists and the SENDCo plans ahead of January 2026 attends induction in January 2026 and carries full responsibility from January 2026. With small classes the Year 2 Teacher can personalise pathways and celebrate rapid gains through spring 2026.

You are a reflective Year 2 Teacher with QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) who loves the craft of teaching. You use assessment smartly communicate clearly and maintain warm exacting routines. Impact
