QA/QC Engineer – Oil & Gas / Industrial Projects
Location: Doha Qatar
Job Type: Full-time – Contract basis
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team for ongoing oil & gas and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working with QatarEnergy projects and a strong understanding of quality control inspection procedures and project specifications in the EPC environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and inspection plans in compliance with project requirements.
* Review and approve ITPs method statements and material submittals.
* Conduct site inspections coordinate with clients and subcontractors and ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Monitor welding coating hydrotesting and fabrication activities for compliance with approved procedures.
* Manage NCRs corrective actions and quality documentation.
* Support project teams during audits surveillance and handover documentation.
* Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy and international codes and standards (ASME API ISO etc.).
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Civil or related Engineering discipline.
* Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in QA/QC roles within oil & gas or industrial EPC projects.
* Previous experience in QatarEnergy projects is highly preferred.
* Certified in ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor; additional certifications (CSWIP NDT Level II BGAS etc.) are an advantage.
* Strong understanding of QA/QC documentation testing procedures and project handover requirements.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.
