• Hourly rate: £12.62 per hour
• Contract: 20 hours per week
• Shift pattern: 11am-4pm 4 days per week

Join Telford Hall Care Home as an Activities Assistant and help create meaningful experiences for our residents. Part of the Sandstone Care Group we’re a modern 66-bed home in Lawley offering nursing palliative and dementia care in a warm homelike setting.

Your Role – Make Every Day Special

As an Activities Assistant you’ll support the delivery of a fun and varied activity programme that brings joy and purpose to our residents’ lives. From music and arts to games gardening pamper sessions and outings you’ll help make every day engaging and meaningful.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering daily activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
• Support residents during activities ensuring inclusion and enjoyment for all.
• Help set up and tidy activity areas maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
• Encourage participation and build positive relationships with residents and families.
• Accompany residents on outings and special events when required.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to integrate activities into daily life.

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘STREAM’.
