We are seeking a professional and dynamic Lodge Anchor to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a key supporting role in daily lodge operations combining strong administrative ability with exceptional guest service. This hands-on position covers Front of House (FOH) Reservations and general lodge assistance to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
Front of House (FOH):
Welcome and host guests with warmth and professionalism.
Manage check-ins check-outs and guest accounts.
Maintain a high standard of lodge presentation and guest relations.
Handle guest feedback efficiently ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
Reservations & Administration:
Manage all bookings and inquiries through NightsBridge email and phone.
Ensure accurate reservation details and timely confirmations.
Liaise with agents head office and other departments for seamless communication.
Prepare and maintain guest arrival lists reports and occupancy data.
Handle administrative duties including filing data capturing and stock tracking.
General Lodge Support:
Assist with hosting duties during meal services and lodge activities.
Support management with daily operational tasks.
Maintain smooth coordination between housekeeping kitchen and activities teams.
Uphold company standards safety protocols and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar lodge or hospitality role.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Proficient in NightsBridge and Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Professional well-presented and service-oriented.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a remote lodge environment.
Advantageous:
Local to the area or familiar with Mkuze
Previous experience in a lodge or remote hotel environment.
Knowledge of POS systems and stock control.
Hospitality qualification or relevant training.
Personal Attributes:
Friendly approachable and guest-focused.
Calm under pressure with a can-do attitude.
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
Team player with a willingness to assist wherever needed.
