Overview:

A nationwide healthcare leader is seeking aUnified Communications Engineer with strong Five9 expertisefor afully remote contract-to-hireopportunity. This role focuses on supporting designing and optimizing enterprise-wide communication platforms includingMicrosoft TeamsVoIP systems and theFive9 Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS)platform.

Responsibilities:

Design implement and maintain UC solutions: Microsoft Teams VoIP and Five9 CCaaS.
Act as SME for voice services conferencing call routing auto attendants and contact center configurations.
Administer Teams Direct Routing SBCs and call flow integrations.
Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to meet business and regulatory needs.
Provide Tier III support for complex voice/video issues.
Work with infrastructure teams to ensure UC platform performance.
Manage vendor relationships and oversee UC implementations/upgrades.
Document system architectures configurations SOPs and troubleshooting guides.
Ensure HIPAA compliance and high availability across communication systems.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years of enterprise UC support experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams (Teams Phone Direct Routing) and VoIP systems.
Hands-on experience with Five9 CCaaS(Genesys or NICE inContact is a plus).
Strong knowledge of SIP QoS SBCs and voice/video network requirements.
Experience in multi-site multi-state environments (healthcare preferred).
Familiarity with HIPAA security and compliance standards.
Strong analytical communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications:

Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer Associate
CompTIA Network or equivalent
Five9 Administrator or similar CCaaS certification
