Job Summary and Responsibilities
**Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus Offered**
Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment!
Location:CUMC-Bergan Internal Medicine Clinic
Schedule:Monday-Friday 8a-5p NO weekends NO holidays & NO call!
The Clinic RN Lead serves as the clinical expert and team lead for our nursing and clinical support staff within the internal medicine clinic. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient high-quality delivery of patient care while fostering staff engagement and implementing best practices. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who excels at clinical problem-solving is a natural mentor and contributes to a positive supportive team culture.
- Coordinate and oversee daily clinical activities ensuring efficient patient flow and optimal staff coverage.
- Collaborate closely with providers and practice management to develop and implement improved workflows and efficiency.
- Perform independent patient assessments and telephone/in-person triage using standardized protocols to determine the level and urgency of care needed.
- Administer medications by oral intramuscular subcutaneous intradermal routes IV.
- Follows nursing policies and procedures for Intravenous infusion.
- Perform phlebotomy and collects specimen for various tests.
- Educate patient and/or family on prescribed treatment regimens.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Must have a current/valid RN license from the state licensing board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required upon hire
- 2 years of clinic nursing experience required
- 2 years of lead / supervisory experience strongly preferred
