Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Ashland MO. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping individuals improve their communication cognition and swallowing abilities in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Position Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the communication and swallowing needs of each patient. The SLP will work closely with patients families and an interdisciplinary team to promote functional progress and enhance quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy for speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders
- Document evaluations treatments and progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate patients families and staff on therapy techniques and communication strategies
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient-centered care
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Missouri (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (required)
- Experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing preferred
- Excellent communication organization and teamwork skills
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality compassionate care
