As the Director of Software Engineering ServiceNow at JPMorgan Chase within Infrastructure Platforms Specialty Platforms and Services you will lead engineering practices for ServiceNow promoting excellence across teams technologies and projects. You will leverage your extensive expertise in software applications technical processes and product management to execute complex initiatives that align with business this capacity you will act as the primary decision maker promoting innovation and steering your teams towards successful outcomes. Job responsibilities
- Advise cross-functional teams on ServiceNow engineering best practices to achieve target state solutions and improvements to current technologies
- Develop and implement multi-year engineering roadmaps aligned with business and technology strategy and priorities; actively engage with teams and customers through discussion and visuals to convey ServiceNow fit-for-purpose solutions
- Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives
- Makes decisions that influence teams resources budget tactical operations and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures
- Work collaboratively with Product and Platform Leads to ensure roadmaps strike the right balance between business delivery technology enablement and operations work
- Serve as a ServiceNow go-to subject matter expert; communicate key points to technical and non-technical audiences at different levels
- Contribute to the development of technical methods and designs for ServiceNow and integrations in line with the latest product development methodologies including NOW Assist
- Delivers technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domains
- Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business product and technology teams
- Champions the firms culture of diversity opportunity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 10 years applied addition 5 years of experience leading technologists to manage anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
- Applied experience in modules such as IRM ITSM and CSM and applied experience in ServiceNow.
- Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologists
- Experience with hiring developing and recognizing talent
- Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager
- Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex engineering problems in one or more technical disciplines
- Ability to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executives
- Practical cloud native experience

- Experience working at code level
