The Senior GRC Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing and managing advanced governance risk management and compliance strategies. Also will oversee the development of frameworks and policies to ensure regulatory adherence and address complex security challenges.
- Develop policies procedures and standards to establish a robust governance structure.
- Create all the security documentation "Policies processes & guidelines" to make sure that information security policy is applied over the company.
- Conduct InfoSec training programs to improve employee understanding of security best practices and policies.
- Lead comprehensive risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment of GRC activities with organizational goals.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and address security weaknesses aiming to improve overall security.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on GRC performance risks and compliance status to executive leadership to support strategic decision making.
- Develop and support the GRC team to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Driving Changes and Building Information Security Capabilities to address emerging threats and support organizational growth
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Information Technology Computer Science or a related field. (ITI & NTI graduates are preferred)
- Relevant certifications (PCI-DSS ISO 27001) are preferable.
- 3-4 years of experience in a GRC IT security or related role.
- Experience with GRC tools and software.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards (ISO 27001).
- Practical experience in handling and managing security incidents to minimize impact and ensure quick recovery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
