Job Summary
POSITION: Surgical Lab Technician
PART-TIME: 25/HRS WEEK
LOCATION: Valencia CA
SCHEDULE: Flexible (Possible Weekends/Evenings)
PAY RANGE: $30-33/HR

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a training center to teach physicians and sales reps how to do surgical procedures; how to implant medical devices in a surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Primary Commitment to patient safety and product Quality.
2. Understands and comply with all the regulations governing the quality systems.
3. Delivery of key Quality and Performance Objectives.
4. Ensure that you are in compliance with all mandatory training requirements.
5. Your responsibilities will include product accountability including medical devices & cadaveric specimens.
6. Complete documentation associated with lab materials & inventory in a timely manner.
7. Ensure all lab activities are carried out as defined in the Quality System.
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Qualifications
AA Degree or min of 2 years experience in related surgical lab field.
Be very familiar with surgical instruments.
Autoclave handling of cadaveric specimens experience is a must.
Familiarity in a surgical lab environment - PPE dosimeter badges and fluoroscopy.
Familiar with Microsoft Office - Outlook excel Teams etc.
Preferred:
Experience working in a surgical OR room setting up familiar in this setting.
Have experience with inventory control - forecasting needs.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
- The ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Use of computers and technology
