Location: Ashland MO
Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team in Ashland MO. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life in a supportive team-oriented environment.
Position Summary
The Occupational Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to carry out individualized treatment plans designed to help patients develop restore and maintain the skills needed for daily living and functional independence.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care as outlined in the treatment plan established by the Occupational Therapist
- Assist in implementing therapeutic activities that promote physical emotional and cognitive well-being
- Accurately document patient progress and communicate updates with the therapy team
- Support the interdisciplinary team by contributing to patient care planning and education
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for patients and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Missouri
- Previous experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate high-quality patient care
