A fast-growing long-term care group is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to see geriatric patients in a nursing home facility located in Shippensburg PA. The individual will provide comprehensive nursing and medical care to patients adhere to organizational standards and policies demonstrate adequate knowledge judgment and technical skills to ensure care plans and facility procedures are met.
Requirements:
- Valid NP license in the state of PA
- Board Certification
- Long-term care experience- preferred
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing all Primary Care related consults
- History and physical exam
- Medication review
- Prescribe medication and drugs
- Check in with patients who have acute issues and establish a follow-up plan
- Reach an informed diagnosis based on medical knowledge and the patients medical history
Schedule:
Full Time Monday - Friday
