Job Summary
Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) was created in 2019 in Lisbon Portugal with the mandate to provide financial services for Air Liquide European the space of 4 years it has expanded to over 400 employees based in 3 office locations: Lisbon Tomar and Guarda. The geographical scope was extended to include besides the European affiliates also entities located in Africa Middle-East and India and the operational scope was extended and includes today not just Finance but also Human Resources.

This is an evergreen requisition meaning we are accepting applications for multiple potential roles across various finance functions including but not limited to: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Accounting (General Ledger Accounts Payable/Receivable) Internal Control Audit Treasury and Business Controlling.

Impact & Strategy: Youll play a vital role in providing accurate financial data insightful analysis and robust control mechanisms that drive business decisions across various Air Liquide entities worldwide.
Skill Diversification: Depending on your specific role you will have the opportunity to master complex local and international accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP) refine your expertise in financial modeling and forecasting or ensure the integrity of our financial processes.
Innovation: Contribute to the continuous improvement and digitalization of finance processes utilizing advanced ERP systems (SAP Oracle etc.) and data analytics tools.

We are seeking diverse profilesfrom early-career professionals to seasoned expertswho possess a core blend of technical acumen cultural agility and a drive for excellence.
Essential Qualifications (Must-Haves):
Education: A university degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
Experience: Relevant professional experience in a core finance function (e.g. Accounting FP&A Audit Treasury Controlling). We encourage candidates at all levels of experience to apply.
Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for international collaboration. Additional proficiency in Portuguese French or Spanish is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills: Proven competence with Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with major ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) is highly desired.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities impeccable attention to detail a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications (Wants):
Professional certifications (e.g. CPA ACCA CIMA CFA CMA).
Experience working within a Global Business Service (GBS) or a global matrixed organization.
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) and experience with finance digitalization projects.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced complex business environment.
