In the role as IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist for IT Security in our IT Security & Network team you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will help protect and enhance GNs global IT security posture based on a zero-trust model while supporting key infrastructure operations and ensuring a stable and secure technology environment.

The team you will be part of:

Welcome to IT Security & Network part of IT Enterprise Platforms in Group IT. We collaborate across the global GN Group developing supporting and maintaining technologies tools and processes that serve as the foundation for GNs digital ecosystem. You will be our IT Security SME for the Infrastructure Operations Team in Warsaw and work at the same time very closely together with our colleagues in the Headquarters.

In the EP&C domain we are around 150 IT professionalsarchitects engineers operations specialists delivery managers and cybersecurity expertsworking together to design build and run global platforms including networks cloud and on-prem infrastructure databases collaboration tools end-user devices identity & access and cybersecurity.

You will join a highly skilled supportive and enthusiastic team of diverse specialists working closely with other IT teams our CISO organization and stakeholders in a dynamic global environment.

Your contribution is appreciated and you will:

• Monitor infrastructure performance availability and security posture proactively responding to security alerts and system issues

• Detect analyze and respond to IT security incidents in collaboration with the Security Operations Center and architecture teams

• Support business users by resolving security-related service requests and technical issues

• Maintain documentation including operational handbooks knowledge base articles and system configurations

• Work closely with infrastructure and security teams to support continuous monitoring investigations and security initiatives

• Participate in a 24/7 rotational on-call schedule for incident response and after-hours support

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by strengthening security controls streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency.

To perform well in the role we imagine that you:

• Bring experience from IT security operations

• Have familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel ServiceNow SolarWinds and core Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory DNS DHCP DFS IIS

• Are comfortable working in hybrid infrastructure environments (on-prem and cloud e.g. Azure/AWS/Cloudflare)

• Communicate clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Are motivated to learn adapt to evolving security technologies and improve processes

• Understand incident management and ITIL-based service practices

• Have a relevant academic background within IT or cybersecurity

• Security certification such as CISSP or equivalent knowledge is beneficial

• Communicate with ease in English both written and verbally.
