About the Role

Were looking for an Occupational Health Nurse to join our growing team of rehabilitation and disability management professionals. This role is based on-site with one of our clients in the North York Region Ontario fully onsite.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) maternity leave replacement position.

What Youll Do

  • Support employees through injury illness and return-to-work programs.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records.
  • Lead and participate in wellness and mental health initiatives.
  • Administer fit-for-duty assessments medical surveillance programs and immunizations.
  • Provide emergency response and first aid as required.
  • Collaborate with management physicians and EHS teams on accommodations and health initiatives.
  • Contribute to prevention and education programs that promote healthy lifestyles.

What Youll Bring

  • Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • 35 years of nursing experience; 25 years in Occupational Health preferred
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN-C or DOHN) or willingness to obtain
  • Strong knowledge of disability management and related legislation
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications
