Responsibilities
Join our innovative California workers compensation insurance team as an entry-level Data Analytics Engineer. This role focuses on creating automations and operational efficiencies to support strategic and transformational initiatives. Working within our small flat organization youll collaborate directly with department leaders and technical experts to implement data-driven solutions that enhance capacity across all team members.
Key functions include but are not limited to:
- Design and implement automated workflows to streamline operational processes across multiple departments
- Build and optimize ETL pipelines for specialized insurance datasets
- Create Power BI dashboards
- Develop automated reporting systems for compliance requirements
- Assistant the data science team with model creation design and maintenance
- Collaborate with various departments to identify and implement automation opportunities
- Improve existing data processing and analysis workflows
This role will be based in our Irvine CA office. We offer a hybrid work schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science Statistics or related field
- Intermediate/ advanced programming knowledge (Python SQL or similar languages)
- Experience with Git
- Basic commercial insurance knowledge
- Workers compensation data structure experience a plus

Base Salary Range: $65000 - 95000 annually

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the scope complexity and location of the role; the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
