Special Education Teacher Grades 35 (Self-Contained Classroom)Location: Central Falls RISchedule: Full-time School YearAbout the RoleOur Client is seeking a passionate and innovative Special Education Teacher for a self-contained classroom serving grades 35. In this role youll provide personalized high-quality instruction that supports differently-abled and multilingual learners. Youll work in partnership with families colleagues and the community to foster academic success while promoting the Districts core values of Equity Empowerment and Youll DoDeliver individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs and district strong supportive relationships with students families and a classroom environment that celebrates diversity inclusivity and by Rhode Island Professional Teaching Standards district policies and collective bargaining RequirementsValid RI Certification in Elementary Education and Elementary Mild/Moderate Special Education - (Willing to waiver if you have expereince with this population and are pending license)ESL Certification or willingness to complete within 3 years Prior experience supporting differently-abled and/or multilingual learners strongly candidates are highly encouraged to check (State & National BCI) required prior to start date.
