DZ Route Delivery Driver (Full Time) North Bay, ON

Education:

• High school graduate or equivalent experience

Experience:

• 2 years related experience within a plant or distribution environment is desired
• 2 years driving experience with a valid DZ license with air brake endorsement
• Road test to verify defensive and safe driving capabilities forcommercial vehicle drivers.
• Medical fitness confirmation forcommercial vehicle drivers.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Mechanical Aptitude
• Knowledge of compressed gases and the safe handling of gases
• Some knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Ability to operate a smartphone hand held computer and electronic logs

DZ Route Delivery Driver (Full Time) North Bay ON

Key Accountabilities:

• Deliver Industrial and Medical products to scheduled customers via a tandem single axle truck tractor-trailer combination.
• Drivers will be required to load and unload cryogenic liquids
• Complete electronic trip reports fuel tickets and other necessary reports
• Complete site surveys of equipment and identify potential repairs of tanks at customer locations
• Other duties as assigned by the manager
• Use of handheld electronic computers to process deliveries at customer sites
• Following all standard operating procedures to safely complete deliveries at customer sites
• Completion of pre and post-trip inspections
