Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated security professionals to provide exceptional security for our client based in Fergus Ontario.
This is a full-time role requires someone to have a reliable vehicle with valid drivers license.
posting will remain open until filled.
Position Overview:
Wages: $18.35/hr
Full Time: 2300-0700 Sunday-Thursday
Shift timings: Open availability
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk.
- Escort medical staff including paramedics police and firefighters when required.
- Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
- Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons. Denying entry to anyone without authorization.
- Assist with coverages at various sites to enhance security at strategic locations.
- Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
- Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.
- Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- G or G2 class drivers licence is required. Vehicle is required to travel to the sites.
- 1 year Security Experience
- Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent customer service experience.
- Effective communication skills.
