Position Summary
The Division of Information Technology invites applications for Adjunct Instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Software Development Engineering. We are seeking dynamic student-centered instructors with professional experience or academic preparation in one or more of the following areas:
Event Driven Programming (C#)
Machine Learning (Python and related tools)
Game development (Unity)
Data Structures and Algorithms (Java)
Software Capstone Project (Agile methodologies)
Introductory Programming
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver course content in in-person or online (Zoom) formats
Incorporate current technologies and industry practices into teaching.
Maintain a positive inclusive and professional learning environment.
Provide timely feedback and academic support to students.
Update instructional materials assignments and assessments in the colleges learning management system.
Report attendance and grade records in accordance with institutional policy.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree in computer science or a related field
Experience
Professional experience in software development
Prior teaching experience preferred.
Position open until filled.
Adjunct pay dependent on degree level.
