Key accountabilities include.
Assist in the design development and implementation of MIS projects and initiatives.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for MIS reports & Tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Perform data analysis and interpretation to support decision-making processes.
Develop and maintain documentation related to MIS processes procedures and systems.
Participate in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to gather feedback and requirements for report enhancements.
Builds a comprehensive understanding of the applications systems and infrastructure across the Outsourcing GB line of business.
Work with the support teams to ensure reliability and automation of production activities related to BI environment. Provide technical support as needed
Maintain security model in relation with the BI tool
Works closely with team members to ensure that the correct data is always displayed in reporting.
Initiate practices that will increase code quality performance and security.
Develops recommendations for continuous improvements initiatives applying deep subject matter knowledge to provide guidance at all levels on the potential implications of changes.
High learning adaptability demonstrating understanding of the implications of technical issues on business requirements and / or operations
Required Skills Knowledge Experience
Knowledge on BI tools including installation administration management and Business Intelligence Reporting experience including design and development.
Expert in Advanced Excel formulas
Experience on creating reports using a BI tool (e.g. Power BI)
Experience on data modelling for BI
Experience developing reports and dashboards
Proficiency in database MS application & management systems (e.g. MS Office Access SQL Server Oracle).
Experience migrating legacy and/or other BI tool reports.
Strong knowledge on code quality with emphasis on continuous improvement performance and security
Knowledge on continuous delivery and continuous integration practices
Willingness to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment that has tight deadlines.
Ability to learn and evaluate new tools concepts and challenges quickly.
