JUNIOR FOREST TECHNICIAN (SUMMER STUDENT)

Landmark Solutions Ltd. (Landmark) is currently looking to add Summer Students to our team of Junior Forest Technicians for the 2026 summer season.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position is a valuable contributor to the Landmark team. As a Junior Forest Technician summer student you will work with safety as a top priority. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

GPS traversing.
Timber Cruising Assistant.
Riparian Assessments.
Assisting with Timber Reconnaissance.
Assisting with Timber Development Projects.
Completion of safety reports through Site Docs.
Have a strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety.

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

The successful candidate will be a student of a post secondary forestry or natural resources program. Other requirements include:

Strong commitment to safety.
Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Self motivated and the ability to work under limited direct supervision.
Ability to work outdoors in all types of adverse weather conditions and steep slopes.

Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License with clean driving record and the confidence to drive safely in a variety of road conditions.

We provide:

Wage ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
