Job Connect is currently seeking some IMMEDIATE START Forklift Operators / Pick Packers for a well-established food distribution warehouse located in Portsmith as they expand with new supply contracts for major brands. $34.13 per hour O/T Penalties!

Available Positions:

Day shifts available Monday to Friday - 5:00 AM Starts.

Key Responsibilities:

Forklift Operations:Safely load unload and move goods in the warehouse.
Pick Packing:Accurately pick and pack orders with the correct items and quantities.
Organisation:Keep a clean workspace and follow safety standards.
Equipment Checks:Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report issues.
Inventory Support:Assist with stock control and inventory tasks.
Teamwork:Collaborate effectively with colleagues for smooth operations.

Requirements:

Forklift License:Valid license required; both experienced and new operators are encouraged to apply (training available for newly licensed individuals).
Warehouse Experience:Prior warehouse experience is preferred and experience in food distribution is a plus (but not essential-well train you!).
Physical Fitness:Ability to handle manual tasks and stay active throughout the day.
Attention to Detail:Accuracy and careful attention to your work.
Communication Skills:Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
Ability to pass a drug/alcohol test and a pre-employment medical check.
Eligibility:Full working rights in Australia are required for these roles.
