Reference Checker for Nanny Agency

Description:

Nanny placement agency is looking for a part-time primary remote Reference Checker to vet nanny candidates. This is 1099 position.

Hours may vary depending on operational needs typically ranging from 10 to 20 hours per week. The schedule is flexible; however availability during regular business hours is expected. Occasionally work outside of standard business hours may be requested.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal/phone skills
  • Polite conversational professional tone
  • Comfortable talking to people of all ages occupations backgrounds etc
  • Able to present a set of questions but know when follow-up questions are necessary or would add to the reference.
  • Able to transcribe quickly while conducting the phone call
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Access to a laptop and a quiet place to work
  • Familiarity with childcare and/or the childcare industry a plus
  • Accountability is important

Responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing the company CRM system effectively
  • Updating reference information and maintaining communication logs
  • Contacting applicants to obtain missing or incomplete information
  • Verifying references in accordance with company protocols
  • Managing all aspects related to reference checks and related documentation
