Job Summary

Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Rotating Days (7:00 AM 5:30 PM & 8:00 AM 6:30 PM)
On-Call: Required (nights weekends and holidays)
Compensation:

Local: $3000 weekly
Travel: $3500 weekly

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Labfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and maintain detailed accurate documentation.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Assist physicians during invasive cardiac catheterization procedures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols including radiation and procedural safety measures.
Participate in on-call rotations including nights weekends and holidays.
Support the training and orientation of new nursing staff.
Engage in continuous quality improvement and patient care initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

Active Massachusetts RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in ICU CVICU ED PACU/SDC or Acute Cardiac/Stepdown units
Proficiency in IV therapy telemetry monitoring and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) management
Ability to wear a lead apron and work in a procedural high-acuity environment
Recent cardiovascular interventional experience within the last 5 years

Preferred:

BSN degree
CCRN or CRN certification
