One of the last standing community hospitals in Northeast Ohio we partner with University Hospitals and other local community organizations to provide a full range of services to all who need us. We are certified as a Level III Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center and have been serving our community for over 100 years!

POSITION INFORMATION
Position summary: The Hospice Spiritual Care Coordinator provides direct spiritual care for patients and families including the spiritual needs and issues of the dying and their families. Coordinates and evaluates spiritual care volunteers; assists with the orientation of new employees and volunteers; and assist with the development and participation of memorial services for patient and the agency. Assist the Interdisciplinary Team in understanding ethical religious and spiritual issues. Assists with outreach to congregations and other community group request for education regarding Hospice services. Must be flexible in meeting patient/family needs or speaking request that require evenings and weekends. Must be available for emergency situations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A degree or certificate in Pastoral Counseling/Spiritual Director; MDIV; or related field from an accredited school or university. Must be able to provide care in diverse living situations to diverse patient populations (racial ethic religious sexual orientation age and social class). Must be able to drive and have vaild Ohio drivers license.
Required length and type of experience: Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or two (2) years related clinical work experience.
Required licensure certification or registry: A degree/certificate in Pastoral Counseling/Spiritual Director
Valid Ohio drivers license
