Responsible for all Internal Hospital discharge orders. Delivery of equipment to room confirming Insurance obtaining prior authorization scanning paperwork back into EMR.This is an in-person position located at Trinity Health Grand Rapids.
Position Summary:
The Billing Representative is involved in the billing of private insurance companies Medicare and Medicaid.
What Billing Representative will need:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of one (1) year of data entry experience.
Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
Ability to work under stress to accomplish deadlines.
Detail oriented.
What Billing Representative will do:
Answers incoming calls from Referrals and customers placing orders.
Primary duties will be DATA Entry Insurance verifications and Prior Authorizations.
Obtains insurance authorization and recertification as needed.
