Job Summary
We are looking for a full-timeMaintenance Technician position to repair and maintain commercial building Kailua-Kona HI 96740 (Big Island). All applicants must successfully pass a background check essential to possess a valid drivers license along with a reliable vehicle previous hands-on maintenance experience light plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry and painting drywall and grounds maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs (painting plumbing electrical mechanical and heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) painting drywall and grounds maintenance
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed asnecessary.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers vendors customers etc.
- Involves constant movement standing walking bending able to stretch during shifts
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.
- Able to lift push pull a minimum of 50lbs up to 75lbs.
- Walk stand for a period of time and bend throughout the shift.
- Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary
- Create and maintain work orders
- Create and maintain purchase orders
- Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required byHBM supervisor/property management
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Must pass background check
- Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
- Customer service oriented
- General Maintenance experience
- Basic mathematics
- Previous experience with creating and maintaining work orders and purchase orders
- Attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and grow
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 6am - 3pm (40 hours a week)
Compensation: $29.00/per hour
