This position is a dynamic and responsive role with a focus on ensuring our people have the tools and support they require to perform and enjoy their roles daily. You will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day operational service delivery of Patient Transfer Services across the Te Manawa Taki region.
Acting as a point of contact for key internal stakeholders as well as building and maintaining external stakeholder relationships to ensure contractual obligations are met. A role built to stretch and grow existing skills and strengths including but not limited to:
Responsible for ensuring the daily operational efficiency of the service through effective forward planning and coordination. This includes proactive liaison with Rosters the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) and IOC Health Transport (HT) to resolve operational issues as they arise.
Oversee and coordinate staff rosters ensuring adequate shift coverage and continuity of service. Anticipate and plan for future operational requirements to maintain service delivery.
Ensure operational fleet and equipment meet audit and compliance requirements and are maintained in a safe serviceable and fit-for-purpose condition. Support regular audits and follow up on corrective actions to maintain operational readiness and safety standards
Delivery of the onboarding and orientation of new staff. Provide ongoing support to ensure engagement and successful integration into the team.
Be a visible credible operational role model for Health Services and wider ambulance operations
Ability to motivate inspire and support others while ensuring the service delivery expectations are understood and adhered to.
Support the implementation of new systems and training of staff. Build & maintain strong positive relationships with all team members and stakeholdersboth internal and external
Foster a positive inclusive and open work culture that encourages collaboration respect and continuous improvement.
Excellent written & interpersonal communication skills. Confident use of Microsoft Suite i.e. Excel word PowerPoint
This opportunity is full time permanent working Monday Friday Te Manawa Taki based with travel required.
