Job Summary
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team at Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater Florida. As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for general facility maintenance. You will be expected to take a proactive approach to all repair requests and to keep detailed records of all assignments completed.

Responsibilities
- Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and identify needed repairs.
- Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets fluorescent bulbs ballasts sockets fuses minor appliances etc.) using appropriate hand power and specialty tools.
- Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets unclogging of drains and fixtures etc.)
- Performs minor painting carpentry and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and brush sprayer or roller to apply paints stains varnishes hanging doors fixing locks and handles etc.)
- Reconfigures installs and moves office furniture modular offices and work spaces
- Assist in monitoring all work performed by outside Mechanical contractors.
- Maintain inventory on maintenance supplies.
Requirements
- Skilled in building tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry electrical plumbing general maintenance); facilities.
