As theBusiness Banking Relationship Officer youwill be selling bank productsandservices to companies with revenues between $1mm-$20mm. These products and services areCommercial & Industrial Practice Finance and Payment Technologysolutions that will entice prospective companies to award new business to UMB. You will engageand build relationshipsin the community withBusiness Owners CFOs CEOsandControllers. You will also manage existing businessmaintainingrelationship profitability & portfolio risk and theprofitable growth of the portfolio includingloans deposits & fee the ability tohelp clients achieve their financial dreams streamline business processes and help them better understand theirworkingcash flow needs.

How youll spend your time:

• You will utilize your networking abilities in the community by participating in community and professional activities to enhance UMBs image and brand and build new business.
• You willutilize your credit skills to qualifycompanies eligible for loan business while managingthe overall credit quality of the assigned portfolioto ensure the loan quality.

• You will utilize your negotiation skills to negotiate loan proposals analyze and evaluate credit requests and write loan commitments for presentation to an underwriter or loan committeefor loan approval.
• Utilizing your communications skills you will serve as the primarycontactfor all financial services to individual Business Banking clientswith the bankto ensure business retention.

• You have a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience of up to 5 years in a commercial lending role.

• You have demonstrated experience in sales to small businesses credit knowledge and credit underwriting knowledge.
• Bonus points if you have strategic industry sales knowledge and marketing abilities in those industries.

Compensation Range:
