QA Engineer

Manual Testing:
Analyze business and functional requirements to design detailed comprehensive
test cases.
Conduct functional regression integration UI/UX and exploratory testing for
web and mobile applications.
Perform browser compatibility and cross-device testing.
Log track and report defects using JIRA and collaborate with the development
team for timely resolution.

Automation Testing:
Design develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
with Java and TestNG/JUnit.
Develop and execute mobile test automation scripts using Appium (Android &
iOS).
Enhance and maintain test automation frameworks for web and mobile platforms.
Integrate automated scripts with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions).
Perform thorough analysis and debugging of failed scripts to identify root causes.

Collaboration & Agile Integration:
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups
retrospectives and reviews.
Collaborate closely with developers product managers and other QA engineers.
Provide timely status updates test execution reports and defect metrics to the
QA Manager.
Assist in UAT and production release validation as needed.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related
field.
23 years of professional experience in software testing both manual and
automation.

Additional Information :

Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java.
Experience in mobile automation testing using Appium (Android/iOS).
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle.
Familiarity with version control tools like Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
Understanding of CI/CD concepts with exposure to tools like Jenkins or GitHub
Actions.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest-Assured.
Exposure to cloud environments like AWS Azure or GCP.
Basic knowledge of performance testing is a plus.
Previous domain experience in travel-tech or e-commerce is advantageous.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
