Job Summary
Job purpose
To implement the operations continuous improvement activities through project management training coordination coaching and internal consultancy and advisory.
Living the Lean principles act as a specialist to deliver consistent sustainable improvement activity within the plant in line with JM global standard.
Principle accountabilities
a. JMPS enabler
Supporting JMPS Manager for necessary coordination & development of Site JMPS Roadmap
Support JMPS Manager in developing Site level JMPS Deployment plan
Support JMPS Manager Cell leaders in JMPS Deployment as per Deployment plan.
Coordinate & manage cell activities for JMPS Deployment monitoring performance toward agreed target of the cell.
b. Push and implement MANEX (Manufacturing Excellence)
Acts as a role model for the problem-solving development.
Supports and lead focused improvement and optimization projects/initiatives covering Safety Quality Delivery Engagement and Cost
Supporting site functions/ areas in problem solving improvement
Conducts training in continuous improvement methodologies and coaches others in the application of these methods.
c. Digitalization
Acts as a role model for the problem-solving development.

Number of Kaizen &Suggestion
Scope
The magnitude of the role quantifiable effect on business end result include information such as span of control budget managed geographic span sales production costs CAPEX (information dependent on function).
Has full ownership of the China manufacturing excellence projects
This role may have significant stakeholders to be managed in the local community.
Qualifications/ knowledge/ experience
- Bachelors degree or above and major in industrial engineering
- More than 3 years for manufacturing excellence or CI project management
- Familiar with TPM 5S QCO APQP IATF16949 or ISO QA system
- In-depth understanding of Processes Quality and Safety Cost.
- Proficient in all stages of project management: initiation planning execution control and closure
- Familiarity with cost management methodologies such as target costing and value engineering
- Good coaching skills to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Able to develop systematic improvement plans and effectively implement them with lean tools.
