Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Presales consultant /analyst in Application Development and management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive solutions for RFPs (Request for Proposals) and Proactive opportunities related to application development. This role involves close collaboration with sales technical teams and clients to design propose and present application development solutions that meet client requirements and align with our companys capabilities.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks for the Role

  • Handling New Customer Requests (Low Risk Opportunities):
    • Manage and process customer inquiries (RFIs/RFPs) for low-risk deals.
    • Evaluate and respond to requests within the defined scope of low-risk opportunities.
  • Managing Requests Under Existing Contracts:
    • Address customer requests and call-offs under existing frame contracts.
    • Ensure contractual compliance and adherence to internal guidelines.
  • Document Translation:
    • Translate documents between German and English for customer submissions.
    • Ensure solution documents are accurate and linguistically aligned for submissions.
  • Preparation of Submission Documents:
    • Compile and prepare all necessary documents for proposals and bids.
    • Develop tailored solution descriptions that align with customer demands.
    • Perform pricing and cost calculations using CPQ (Configure Price Quote) tools.
    • Define delivery and partner models for proposed solutions.
  • Internal Alignment and Approvals:
    • Collaborate with Deal Managers and Service Delivery Managers to finalize proposals.
    • Obtain necessary internal approvals in adherence to company guidelines.
  • CRM and Opportunity Management (Beneficial Skill):
    • Manage sales opportunities in the CRM system (e.g. Salesforce).
    • Ensure accurate and timely updates with proper documentation.
    • Follow established processes for opportunity lifecycle management.

Your Profile:
For this position you should have the following qualifications:

  • 6-9 years of relevant experience in a presales bid management or business analysis role.
  • Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint); exposure to tools like Salesforce CPQ or similar is a plus.
  • Understanding of IT services and solutions landscape.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Technology or a related field.
  • APMP PMP or other presales/sales certifications preferred.
  • Domain knowledge in sectors like Telecom BFSI Healthcare or Manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Proficiency English (fluent) is required and German language experts are preferred
