Our EMEA OS client is seeking a dynamic and experienced PMO to oversee the governance planning and delivery of construction and workplace transformation projects across the UK & Ireland. This role will ensure strategic alignment risk management and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of real estate initiatives. This role reports into a client Programme Manager based in London.
Key Responsibilities
- PMO skills: Deliver a UK PMO function for construction and workplace projects.
- Portfolio Oversight: Monitor project performance budgets timelines and resource allocation across multiple sites.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to clients internal controls Building Safety Act requirements and local regulations.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams external contractors consultants and regulatory bodies.
- Reporting & Insights: Deliver executive-level dashboards risk assessments and progress reports.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies and tools.
- Change Management: Support transition planning and communication for impacted business units.
Qualifications :
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in PMO leadership within construction and real estate environments.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations including the Building Safety Act 2022.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Primavera Power BI).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in large matrixed organisations ideally professional services or corporate environments.
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management Project Management or related field.
- PMI PRINCE2 or APM certification preferred.
- Knowledge of RIBA stages CDM regulations and sustainability standards is a plus.
