Title: Maritime Electrical Engineer

Working Arrangement: Remote (Travel to Southampton 2 times a month)

Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical schematics and cabling systems for next-generation autonomous vessels.
- Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings to support the electrical integration of control communication and power systems.
- Develop and manage CAT Fibre and COAX communication networks for vessel control and sensor systems.
- Oversee system installation testing and commissioning ensuring compliance with MCA and DNV maritime standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability safety and sustainability across vessel operations.
- Support the delivery of new vessel platforms ensuring robust electrical systems are in place for launch and long-term operation.
Qualifications :
Required Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical design and schematic creation.
- Strong background in marine electrical engineering or vessel system design.
- Experience working with CAT/Fibre/COAX communication systems.
- Knowledge of MCA DNV or other relevant marine standards.
- Proven experience delivering full system designs from concept to commissioning.

Desirable Skills:
- Experience in autonomous or remotely operated marine systems.
- Hands-on experience with cabling routing and harness assembly for marine environments.
- Familiarity with low-voltage power systems and marine communication architectures.
- Understanding of hybrid or renewable power integration in maritime systems.
