Job Summary
CK Group are recruiting for an EHS Engineer on behalf of medical equipment manufacturer based in Plymouth on a permanent basis.
In this role the successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure the site complies with all relevant Health Safety Environmental and Sustainability legislation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- To assist management in implementing and maintaining the standards required of the health and safety at work act and all other codes of practice and relevant standards.
- Act as the key contact and facilitator for external visits and audits from relevant agencies
- Establish appropriate processes and controls to ensure that the site will maintain ISO14001 certified
- Carry out risk assessments on assembly equipment new and old ensuring that the safety and wellbeing is not compromised
- Create COSHH Risk assessments and maintain the sites COSHH Risk Assessment database
- Identify any needs to carry out Health and Safety training across the site.
Candidate requirements - skills and experience:
- NEBOSH IOSH or NVQ H&S qualification or equivalent experience is essential
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Engineering qualification would be an advantage
- Project management and / or team leadership experience would be an advantage
