As a Front Office Intern you will be the distinguished first point of contact for our valued guests. Under supervision you will learn to manage reservations warmly welcome guests and ensure a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. You will be part of the team that provides detailed information about our exclusive amenities and services handles inquiries and resolves any issues promptly and professionally. Your role is essential in maintaining the hotels high standards and enhancing the guest experience making sure they feel valued and well cared for throughout their stay.
Responsibilities and learning tasks:
Greet and welcome guests warmly and professionally using their names whenever possible.
Learn to manage and resolve guest complaints or issues in a personalized and timely manner.
Become familiar with and adhere to all Front Office standard operating procedures in every interaction.
Assist in managing reservations and check-in/check-out processes.
Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and services.
Attend to guest inquiries and assist in resolving problems.
Participate in promoting and upselling hotel services packages and loyalty programs.
Maintain a constant presence at the reception area during your shift.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
Help keep the reception area clean and organized.
Support billing and payment handling.
Assist with special requests and guest arrangements.
Respect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Participate in training sessions and reception team meetings.
Assist with managing office supplies and equipment.
Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Comply with hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
Education and Requirement
Currently enrolled students in a Bachelors or Masters degree in Hospitality Tourism Business Administration or related fields.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
Availability to carry out an internship agreement with the educational institution.
No prior experience required although academic or extracurricular experience related to customer service or tourism will be valued.
Applicants are kindly requested to possess either EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Spain.
