Working Student IoT Live Support (mfd)

We are looking for a motivated and technically minded working student to support our team in providing live feedback and technical assistance to installers of our PV systems and wall boxes. You will help ensure smooth installation processes gather real-time insights from the field and contribute to improving our service and product quality. 

Your Tasks 

• Provide real-time and remote technical support to installers during PV system and wall box installations. 

• Assist in diagnosing and resolving installation or configuration issues using available data IoT device interfaces and support tools. 

• Work with IoT-connected devices and monitor their performance during installation and operation. 

• Maintain and document feedback common issues and proposed improvements. 

• Support the team in creating knowledge base articles and improving troubleshooting guides. 

• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to ensure alignment between field insights and product development. 

• Contribute to continuous improvement of communication channels and support workflows. 

• Please note that we are searching for students in BERLIN and surrounding area.

Qualifications :

• Presently enrolled in a bachelors or masters program in renewable energy electrical engineering IT or related fields. 

• Capable of writing and speaking German at a minimum B2 level. 

• Basic understanding of electrical engineering concepts and PV system components (inverters modules wall boxes wiring etc.). 

• Familiarity with Bash scripting IoT device communication and basic cloud services (e.g. AWS Azure or similar). 

• Understanding networking concepts (IP configuration connectivity and diagnostics). 

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Structured reliable and self-organized working style. 

• Experience with Confluence or other documentation/support tools is a plus.
