Reporting to the Chief Concierge and Senior Rooms Managers responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist guests with mail messages and any plans or arrangements they require
- Assist with any plans or arrangements the guest intends to make during their stay and to ensure timely follow up with guests and any confirmations for bookings
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Assists in overseeing the bell desk and bell team
- Follow department policies procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Previous customer related experience required
- Must possess a professional presentation
- Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
- Must be fluent in both languages
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all time
- Previous supervisory/management experience a strong asset
Additional Information :
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Regularly lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Occasional kneeling pushing pulling lifting
