The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible formanaging andmaintainingthe credentialing and recredentialing process for healthcare providers to ensure compliance with organizational state and federal requirements. The role verifies the qualifications licensure education training and professional background of providers. The specialist must demonstrate strong attention to detail organizational skills confidentiality and knowledge of credentialing standards and healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities- Compile andmaintaincurrent andaccuratedata for all providers
- Complete provider credentialing recredentialing applications; revalidations; monitors applications andfollows-up as needed
- Maintain copies of current state licenses DEA certificates malpracticecoverageand any other required credentialing documents for all providers
- Maintain corporate provider contract files
- Maintain knowledge of current healthplanand agency requirements for credentialing providers
- Set up andmaintainprovider information in online credentialing databases andsystem
- Track license and certification expirations for all providers to ensuretimelyrenewals
- Ensure practice addresses are current with health plansagenciesand other entities
- Continue to expand and learnadditionaltasks related to credentialing as needs grow within Radpod
Qualifications- 2 years of relevant credentialing experience
- Working experience in CAQH PECOS Availity Verityetc
- Willingness to learn and build a process around onboarding new clients for payer claim enrollment and EFT enrollments
- Self-driven and motivatedwith great attention to detail
- Comfortable with multitasking and working in a tech-driven environment
- Organized and focused while navigating multiple systems
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
