Labor & Employment Associate Attorney - Class Action
Locations: Texas (Austin Dallas or Houston)
Our client a prominent AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level or Senior Associate Attorney to join their Labor and Employment Class Action Group in Texas. This hybrid position is available in the Austin Dallas or Houston offices.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Texas.
- 46 years of substantive experience in employment orclass action litigation with a desire for trial work.
- Experience defending employment discrimination EEOC/DOL wage and hour claims including class action lawsuits.
- Background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance drafting workplace policies and assisting clients with general employment issues is a plus.
- Superior legal research writing and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defend employers in complex employment litigation including wage and hour class actions and discrimination claims.
- Counsel clients on compliance with federal and Texas employment laws and regulations.
- Draft and prepare workplace policies employment agreements and severance agreements.
- Represent clients in depositions witness interviews and trial preparations.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on high-profile employment cases.
