WillowWood Global LLC of Mesa Arizona is seeking to hire a Receiving Inspection Clerk responsible for receiving inspecting documenting and issuing materials to our manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accuracy quality and organization in our raw materials area. Summary:
This position is responsible for receiving incoming products performing visual and mechanical inspections of purchased materials and components and maintaining full control of the raw material room. The Receiving Inspection Clerk ensures that all materials are properly scanned stored and issued to manufacturing personnel while keeping physical inventory aligned with system records. There is a 30-day probationary period.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy documentation and quality.
- Verify certifications specifications and conformance to design requirements.
- Maintain and organize the raw materials room and receiving area.
- Scan materials in and out to ensure system inventory matches physical stock.
- Issue materials to manufacturing personnel while maintaining accurate tracking.
- Communicate with internal departments and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification ).
- Follow all safety quality and housekeeping standards.
Essential Skills Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- 13 years of experience in receiving inspection or inventory control preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP or inventory systems preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with good communication and organizational skills.
- Forklift experience and/or certification .
