Job Summary

Lead Veterinarian Greenville SC

A progressive small animal practice is seeking a skilled Lead Veterinarian to provide medical leadership mentor colleagues and ensure high-quality care for patients. This role allows for professional growth in a collaborative environment while supporting the development of a strong capable clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and collaborate with veterinary colleagues and support staff

  • Oversee patient care including medical and surgical cases

  • Establish and maintain high clinical standards within the practice

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support professional development

  • Communicate effectively with clients and address medical questions or concerns

  • Partner with management to support operational and clinical goals

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent international qualification)

  • Active or eligible veterinary license in the relevant state

  • Strong clinical leadership and mentoring abilities

  • Excellent communication teamwork and problem-solving skills
