Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant or Licensed Physician to perform comprehensive medical evaluations two days per week on Mondays and Fridays. Our ideal candidate will conduct physical assessments review medical histories and prepare a report that will be used as part of the process to evaluate the disabled individuals application for disability benefits.
Compensation:
- Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant: $120000 $130000 annually prorated based on days worked.
- Physician: $140000 $150000 annually prorated based on days worked.
- Fee-for-Service Option: $40 per unit for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants and $50 per unit for Physicians.
Responsibilities:
- Medical Evaluations: Perform in-depth medical assessments including gathering medical histories and conducting physical examinations of applicants.
- Diagnostic Interpretation: Analyze and interpret diagnostic and ancillary testing.
- Report Writing: Create a comprehensive medical report including VA criteria to determine the likelihood that the Veterans condition is related to their military service.
- Data Submission: Utilize our user-friendly report generation platform to submit your VA-approved questionnaire quickly and easily.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant or Physician (MD/DO) license.
- Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant or Licensed Physician.
- Preferred specialties include family medicine emergency medicine internal medicine occupational medicine physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) or orthopedics.
